From my window

Watching the changing face of the seasons and the procession of growing things from my window, has revealed many wonderful things about our God. May you be blessed as you become better acquainted with the Creator from the things you begin to notice from your window.

It is tulip time of year! I like these yellow ones. They come back year after year, and bring a real corner of sunshine to the garden. Some of them have special fringed petals. They look very attractive. I also bought a ready-made collection this year – purple and white. They are quite unusual, and have given me great pleasure. I am still trying to get some tulips that are a proper scarlet, and so far I have not been successful. But as with God, He always gives us another chance however badly we have messed up. So in the autumn I shall go through the catalogues again, and this time I hope I get it right! Do you like the little blue forget-me-nots?

Look what has happened this week! And a white cherry too, that hangs low over my arbour. As we look around us, it does seem to be a time of pink and white. At the beginning of the year everything was white flowered with snowdrops, then it went to yellow, and now these colours are everywhere you look. It is so wonderful when we have a deep blue sky to set off the shades. Have you ever thought what it would be like if our skies were green?! I am so glad God has made things with such a balanced beauty, that brings joy to our hearts.
